| Definition: | The stature of the pubescence on a plant or plant part. |
| Comments: | Stature can be "oppressed", "semi-oppressed" or "upright". Oppressed pubescence stand at an acute angle to the plant surface almost parallel to the surface. Semi-oppressed pubescence stand at nearly a 45 degrees to the surface and upright pubescence stand at nearly 90 degrees to the surface. |
