Abstract: | Buckshot 723, derived by pedigree selection from the cross Tracy X N72-3213, is a high yielding, maturity group VII soyabean variety, on average 40 inches tall with little lodging, yellow seed coats, white flowers and brown pubescence. It matures 2 days earlier than Bragg. It is highly resistant to stem canker [Diaporthe phaseolorum], moderately resistant to Wartelle root-knot nematode [Meloidogyne incognita subsp. wartellei] and resistant to anthracnose [Colletotrichum truncatum] and frog-eye [Cercospora sojina]. |
