Abstract:The F2 segregation in 6 crosses of resistant x susceptible vars. of soybeans (Glycine max) was studied under conditions of natural infection to Cercospora sojina, the causal fungus of frog-eye leaf spot. Resistance in the crosses studied was found to be due to a single major dominant Mendelian factor. The hypothesis of a single gene segregation was verified in the F3. The symbols Cs, cs were assigned to this gene pair.
