Abstract: | A 4-year study in Texas showed that larvae of Trichoplusia ni (Hb.) and Pseudoplusia includens (Wlk.) were most abundant in April, July and August. Larvae of T. ni were collected from 28 food-plant species and those of P. includens from 22. Total parasitism of the larvae was considerable (58-71%) during all but 4 months of the year. Twenty-nine parasite species were reared from the larvae and pupae. |
