Comments about the QTL
The markers (Sat_172, LG E; Sat_326, LG D2) reported to flank this QTL are located on two different SoyBase Composite genetic maps. The QTL position shown is an interval around the marker on the genetic map identified by name by the authors as the location of the QTL. See the publication for additional details. |

Whiteflies are also known as the sweetpotato whitefly, Bemisia tobaci. Publication measured mean whitefly nymphs per leaflet (MWPL), which was defined as the average number of nymphs observed on 5 plants in a plot. Nymphs were counted on the middle leaflet of a main stem leaf recorded late-August through mid-September. See publication for additional details. |
