| Whiteflies are also known as the sweetpotato whitefly, Bemisia tobaci. Publication measured mean whitefly nymphs per leaflet (MWPL), which was defined as the average number of nymphs observed on 5 plants in a plot. Nymphs were counted on the middle leaflet of a main stem leaf recorded late-August through mid-September. See publication for additional details. |
