Comments about the QTL
The experiment was run over the course of two years, and the primary focus was on aspects of sudden death syndrome disease incidence. QTL associated markers were approximately placed on the SoyBase Composite2003 genetic map by BLASTing the markerŐs sequence against the Wm82.a2 genome, identifying the nearest genetically mapped markers on each side of the BLAST hit, and interpolating the markerŐs position on the genetic map to a similar relative position. |
